At last we reached L´Ans aux Meadows

The Millennium celebrations were due to begin in two hours time; the last bit of our journey consisted of queues, busses and guards. We had to park the car and travel the remaining few miles by bus. From the plateau, we can at last look down on Newfoundland's northern point and Norstead.
