Kalle Runristare - About me

	My name is Kalle Runristare. Runristare means "rune stone carver", and that is what I do for a living. My family name is Kalle Dahlberg
My life has always been surrounded by nature, art and history. From that experience I got my basic education to carve this great runestones. In my daily life I like all kinds of food, my family, animals, nature and to be a viking re-enactor. To act as a viking re-enactor gives me a good insight and knowledge to the society thousand years ago and that is necessary if my runestones shall become real in public eyes, now and in the future.

I live in an old red house at the south part of the island of Adelsö, near Birka, the viking trademark. I live here together with my Ellinor, her daughter Denice, our dog Frode, cats, sheeps, fowls and more.

In the World Heritage area, where the kings from viking period are beried, is where I start my guided tours "Historical Travellsa" as a viking from the past.

I'm also working at home, my home is my office and here I have the computer to make this WebPages and answer e-mails. I paint, draw and carve my runestones here. I often get surprised comments when people hear that I also work with computers. In fact, it's a big difference, but they have something in common. You can create with both of them, that's what I like.
But the runestones hard drive last much longer than the computers....
